Even children are played with green pastures and idyllic scenes, as they are often portrayed in children's books or in advertising, an agricultural animal husbandry that does not exist. Halls without much daylight, wire cages and the breeding for ill-making services: So millions of animals in the meat, milk and egg production usually have to live cooped up in a confined space.
 Factory farming or ecological attitude
 Despite the fact that there are healthier herbal alternatives, in Germany alone nearly 800 million land creatures are killed every year for the food industry. It hardly matters whether the animals have to live in the conventional or the ecological attitude. They can hardly live up to their needs in agricultural animal husbandry, and they are all killed sooner or later. The term factory farming is misleading, because even animals in small stables "at the farmer next door" often suffer like their conspecifics in the mega cases.
